Swiss machine-tool manufacturer

Tornos uses a range of machining technologies with swarf removal capabilities to produce parts requiring extreme precision and quality.

Whether machining simple or highly complex parts, in small or large runs, Tornos machines can offer you a solution guaranteed to meet your needs!

Tornos offers the following range of automatic turning machines.

Single-spindle numerical control with sliding headstock

Tornos has been a recognized specialist in sliding headstock turning machines for over 100 years. Benefitting from unrivalled expertise, Tornos can offer our customers a complete turnkey solution. Our product range can respond to all of your needs, whatever the diameter or the field of application. Tornos has worked ceaselessly and will continue to develop innovative machining solutions.

Multispindle parallel numerical control

Multispindle turning machines quadruple the rates of single-spindle machines. With 6 or 8 spindles, Tornos' multispindle machines allow bar operations to be serialized. The MultiAlpha and MultiSigma ranges can be equipped with double counter spindles. Capable of being fully adapted to your needs, these machines are an ideal, efficient solution for large production runs. Multispindle turning machines are known as fixed headstock machines, and do not have guide bushes. In 2011, Tornos launched a new product range known as MultiSwiss. This range provided the link between single-spindle sliding headstock turning machines and multispindle machines. The truly revolutionary MultiSwiss is the first multispindle sliding headstock turning machine on the market.

Multispindle cam-controlled with programmable automated controller

The SAS 16.6 has become synonymous worldwide with precision, reliability, durability and, above all, exceptional productivity. Known and appreciated by our customers as quite simply the best multispindle small diameter cam-controlled machine in the world, the SAS 16.6 is a mechanical masterpiece. This machine now represents a high-performance machining solution for simple parts with high output rates.
